Between 2019 and 2021, I designed and carried out workshops and trainings for private companies and NGOs in Nicaragua. Among other topics, I focused on Breast Cancer Awareness and COVID-19: prevention and best practices.

In June 2022, I participated in the workshop titled “Identity: Dialoguing with the Other and Myself” facilitated by Dr. Nita Chaudhuri from Saffron Global Health at the Ecole des hautes études en santé publique (EHESP) in Rennes, France. A collaborative, inclusive, diverse and wholehearted environment was fostered throughout the workshop, resulting in more assertive ways of leading, communicating and engaging with peers.

In July of 2023, I was invited to participate in the piloting of the workshop “Identity Dialogue: Problem Solving and Transitions”. This consisted of a follow-up workshop on identity by Saffron Global Health, and this time I was able to deepen my expertise and knowledge on a step-by-step methodology for problem solving accounting for intersectionality, power imbalances and stakeholder engagement.
